Colors of India is a vibrant traveling celebration of music, dance, food, art, and community inspired by the spirit of a traditional Indian mela. Experience the colors, sounds, rhythms, and flavors of India through an immersive cultural gathering designed to bring people together through joy, movement, and connection.

Building on the “Bhangra meets Bay Area energy” that helped make Bhangra & Beats Night Market a beloved San Francisco experience, Colors of India expands that vision into a flexible pop-up format that can come to life in museums, public spaces, venues, festivals, and beyond.

Anchored by the signature energy of Non Stop Bhangra, each experience features interactive dance lessons, DJs, live drumming, colorful performances, local food and retail vendors, family-friendly activities, and community celebration for people of all backgrounds.

Non Stop Bhangra is a San Francisco-based collective rooted in the traditional folk dance and music of Punjab, India. For over 20 years, NSB has created immersive experiences celebrating culture, community, and collective joy. Voted “Best Dance Party in San Francisco,” the collective has produced and performed at over 1,000 events spanning museums, festivals, performing arts centers, nightclubs, and public spaces throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

Featuring interactive dance lessons and performances with Dholrhythms Dance Company, resident DJs, live drummers, and special guest artists, NSB is known for its vibrant energy, welcoming atmosphere, and inclusive spirit.

In 2023, NSB co-launched the Bhangra & Beats Night Market, a large-scale all-ages cultural celebration welcoming more than 75,000 attendees in its first three years. Voted Best Night Market (Editor’s Pick) by 48 Hills for two consecutive years, the event also helped lead San Francisco’s inaugural official Diwali celebration. NSB has received two Certificates of Honor from the City of San Francisco recognizing its cultural contributions and community impact.
